Inspired by June’s Marie Claire Special on Eco Chic goes Glam and Fashion with heart  I decided to contribute by writing a post about Eco chic products you can buy in Dublin.

It’s with enormous delight that I welcome this Eco-chic trend as you know from previous blogs how passionate I feel about the environment conservation and preservation. I agree with the magazine’s editor when she says we know how easy it is to feel defeated by the scale of the problems of global warming and how consumer behaviour is damaging the planet. That is why my  approach is to tackle this from a positive, nice and easy perspective . Being green and gorgeous can be done and it is fun.

Log on to www.marieclaire.co.uk and pledge what you are going to change today.

You can find Andino  at Designer Mart at Cow’s Lane on Saturdays in Temple Bar ; Sesi, 11 Fownes St, Temple Bar and in the coolest Summer Festivals around Ireland.

To be stylish when doing your Grocery Shopping a reusable bag is a must- The latest I fall in love with was by M&S made with Organic Cotton . Visit their Food Store for the most gorgeous day to day shopping bags. Remember to store them somewhere easy to hand so you don’t leave home without them.

Be Green and Gorgeous in your household:

The Eco-chic qualities of Lilly’s Eco Clean are superb. Years ago I purchased my first Lilly’s washing-up liquid in Cultivate centre, Temple Bar.  I am so proud of this West Cork company. Lilly’s Eco clean is the story of a small environmental company, which never lost the ethos of their initial inception. If you like beautiful and simple things you will love this brand designs. Be Green with words:

If you are confused with the terminology around here is some help:

Eco: It takes into account the environment, health of consumers and working conditions of the producers . it is not necessary fair trade or organic.

Ethical: Companies that follow the Ethical Trading Standards subscribe to the following: no forced labour, safe working conditions, no child labour, living wages amongst others.

Fair Trade: Pays fair prices to producers reflecting true cost of production, promotes gender quality, commits to long-term relationships to provide stability and invests in social and environmental projects.

Organic: Not sprayed with pesticides, fungicides, herbicides or chemical fertilisers, which is better for the environment and workers .

Lots of love and positive energy to you,

xx

My dear friends,

This blog is about a topic I often come across while doing Coaching. Being Selfish becomes challenging when you have a strong sense of  Loyalty or Integrity as values.  I experienced this myself and it took me  a while to grasp the possibility of being Loyal and selfish at the same time.

I want to share this simple idea: How about you honouring the other side of Loyalty ? The side of Loyalty to yourself, to your plans, your life , your time , your space? It is impossible  to give someone love and energy from a good place if we are not fully replenished and charged of energy and love ourselves. And how are we supposed to ‘recharge our batteries and replenish our energy’ if we are not selfish ?

You owe being Loyal to yourself. Give yourself permission to do so! That’s when miracles will start happening in your life and you will be in a  trully good place to give others.

Lots of love & positive energy to you all,

Maria

Take this extract from Esther & Jerry Hicks ‘The Law of Attraction ‘ book for inspiration:

‘You cannot perceive life from any perspective other than from that of yourself….

Selfishness is the sense of self.

Unless you are selfish enough to care about how you feel-and therefore direct your thoughts in such a way that you are allowing a true connection to your Inner Being- you have nothing to give another anyway.

Everyone is selfish. It is not possible to be otherwise.

Hello my beautifuls,

There is a lot going on about the Law of Attraction and even though I am fascinated about the subject I always had this feeling of  wanting to know more. Something was missing in all the literature and videos I’ve been reading and ‘absorbing’, some key questions weren’t answered so that I could say yes ! definetely now I get it and I can trully put in in action.

I believe I had a great understanding & awareness of how the Law works and had some good manifestations in my personal life as examples and evidence that I was on the right track. However ,some key questions weren’t answered like, What to do when doubt creeps in ? What to do to raise our vibration continuosly and stay in it for as long as we could so we can attract what is it that we want? How do we know we are in the right track? How can we use our emotions to guide us to what is it that we want ?What to do when negative emotions take over ? and many more…

My logical side of the brain wasn’t satisfied and wanted more.

Thanks god I found what I believe is the next step in my understanding and practice of this Law which first came to me in the Form of ‘The Law of Attraction Cards’ by Esther & Jerry Hicks. Well, I must admit I recognise Esther Hicks from The Secret video but what attracts me to the 60-Cards deck was the practicality of having them in my office as a constant reminder of the Law -and a beautiful one (the illustrations on the cards are superb so my visual side of the brain bought into the idea)

The cards were only the beginning and this is were the Magic begins. The cards started to make so much sense and they seemed to hold the answers to my deep & not so deep questions on this Law …well, in a matter of 2 weeks one of my best friends insisted in giving me a present of a Book she wanted me to have ( without her knowing anything about the cards)…yes, you guessed it The book version of my card deck ! ’The Law of Attraction and How to Make it work for you ‘ Esther and Jerry Hicks The Teachings of Abraham.

I laughed when I read the foreword saying ….’look at what you’re holding in your hands. You did that. You put this book right here, right where it is,right in front of your eyes. You manifested it’…..

What a book , all I can say is that for now my thrist for knowledge on the Law is satisfied. Since then the video of these authors and The Teachings of Abraham came to my life and I throughlouly devoured it. The questions are finally answered in a logical way that made total sense to me.

I highly recommend it as a MUST read if you want to trully understand and put in practice the Law to the ‘next level’.

Also available the magnificient ‘Ask and it is given’ ; ‘The amazing power of deliberate Intend’.For more information please visit www.abraham-hicks.com

Lots of love , positive energy & blessings for you all and let’s keep ‘manifesting’ until we meet again .

xxxx

Maria
